I'm a former professional touring musician from England now settled in Phoenix Arizona. Jessa is an avid student of the sciences with a degree in microbiology, currently working for the USDA. She loves bugs, old punk bands and exploring. We hike together and enjoy cooking. I have two teenage children, a boy and a girl who stay with us at weekends, and a collection of motorcycles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We met some other couch surfers on a round-the-world motorcycle trip, in the third year of continous riding. They were the most interesting people to talk to and hang out with whilst introducing them to our city. This prompted a discussion between us and we've decided to travel a bit more, and host others as our schedules allow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've toured in many european countries and all over the United States with my band, recorded dozens of records with a variety of bands as a session musician and worked as a motorcycle dispatch rider in London between gigs. Jessa has lived all over the eastern United States, owned many interesting Volkswagens and picked up quite a smorgasbord of talents including Classic car pinstriping, playing the cello, puppet making, microbiology, and entymology.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a modest home with a spare bedroom, back garden and ample parking. Also restaurants within walking distance, a friendly dog and wifi.
