About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Habla español con soltura en España! Travel while I am here in Europe ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I always thought life was about standing your ground, no matter how strong the current was, But going with the flow isn’t so foolish after all. As long as it takes you forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was referred by a friend of mine who also studied abroad and I thought it was a great way to explore new places by learning through the locals! Plus you make lifelong friends that you can return the favor to someday.

Interests

I like swimming, cooking, eating :), and even hiking. My favorite past time is to sit and talk with other people about their life goals. It interests me so much to share that kind of close bond with someone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently I am reading eat.pray.love and it has inspired me to find myself through travel (although I thought I knew myself well enough). I enjoy most contemporary fiction and also romance. My favorite movies are comedies, and I also like action and super hero movies, Superman is my favorite!

I suppose I like mainstream kind of music. Dance music at clubs, alternative rock concerts, I even like classical music too. I love having fun which is probably why I like fun upbeat music, and my favorite bands are All American Rejects and Paramore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel to London/Spain all by myself! There was a bit of a fiasco at the airport, but I haven't really done much traveling yet. I am stepping out of my comfort zone big time, but lots of great results so far ;)

The most amazing thing I've done, I felt, was The Leap of Faith on a team-building ropes course. You had to try to catch a bar in the air while jumping off a little plank very high up. So much adrenaline and something I feel I accomplished in my life... taking the risk and just jumping. I love that feeling.

Travel to Morocco!! (Marruecos in Spanish)
WOW, such an amazing experience like nothing I've ever done in my life. I went with my study abroad group for 6 days and it was awesome! We explored the Medina of Fez and stayed 2 nights in the Sahara desert! It was like a movie, and I never expected to find myself in a place like that in my wildest dreams. I learned a lot about other people and what really matters in life.
