ABOUT ME

Im a 22-year-old student/entrepreneur. I've started studying Industrial Engineering three years ago but I didn't like this too much. I met some awesome people here though with which I've started a small company.

My passion in life is to inspire and motivate people. This can be for my job (in order to exploit it in some way) or just in random encounters while traveling or on the street. I don't care what it's about (I've got experience from show dogs to curling). I really believe that this is the way I can contribute something positive to the world.

PHILOSOPHY

The following is my patented, three step plan to happiness.

STEP ONE: You will receive what you put into to Cosmos

STEP TWO: When you look back at a given period, and you can reassure yourself you have given enough positive energy, you can TRUST that the life will offer you positive things in return

STEP THREE: When you offer enough positive energy (one), giving you a reason to trust the life (two) your POTENTIAL of happiness vastly increases. ALTHOUGH, you are still completely responsible for whatever good will happen to you. You need to take action in order for something nice to happen.

Everybody can do this, the scope of opportunity just increases when you act with step one and two, and realize step three.

I really love to travel, and I'd like to use this community to meet new people and find places to stay.
In order to maintain the community and also meet people, I'd very much like to host anybody that likes a good talk or a tour around the city from a native Dutchman.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a big general knowledge and LOVE to speak about everything. I'm working on a project where i summerise all TED talks (www.ted.com) into mindmaps. I also love to read books about my previously stated interests.

I love the theory of social capital, which states that both parties in a discussion contribute 5% by themselves (2 people x 5% = 10%), but the rest (90%) is created between them. This large portion of knowledge can only be generated and sustained as long as people are together.
