Overview
About Me
Hi there! I'm Javier and although I am living in Grenoble, I come from a small village close to Barcelona. Currently sharing a flat with two other French guys, I am finishing my master where jointly with three other classmates, we have a entrepreneurship projet to reduce plastic wasting on restaurans "to go". I love travelling although most of my trips are to the countryside cos I love outdoor sports like cyicling, hiking or kayak. I am now starting to climb. Cycling is my drug and every year I try to do a new tour. On september I am planning to go from Budapest to Belgrade by bike.
My friends would say that I am talkative. Always looking for an interesting conversation. Easy-going, funny and a good cook. I am looking for new people to get to know around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been several times living abroad. I have met different people from around the world so I got used to stay in their homes and get to know the city from the local point of view. So every time I visit a new city or region, if I do not know anyone there, I like to meet with someone who can show me the city and make me feel as another citizen. I often travel alone so I like to get around with new people who can teach me or show me something new everyday!
Interests
It's difficult to summarize but I would say I am interested in cooking (I try to make a Spanish omelette every time I go somewhere), drinking beer or wine with someone and have a nice conversation about any topic. Make jokes and laugh (it's free). I also love reading and writing (I will tell you more about when we know each other). Whenever I travel I try to spend at least one day hiking around. If the weather allows it, camp around with more people and enjoying the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
While my music taste is so wide, I can listen since Spanish flamenco, Spanish pop-rock, to classical music or deep-house music. However I mostly like usual classics no matterif they are rock, pop-rock or any other song which invites you to dance or singing. I also like oriental music, I find it very exotic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer we hiked across la Costa Brava during 5 days. We camped in different beaches. It was a dream.
If you can consider it amazing, for me it was amazing to do hitchhike around France during one week. Camp around with two other friends and get to know many people during the way to our final destination.
It was also amazing to ride a bike through an European bike path which goes from Budapest til Nantes (France). Although we only rode for 70 km. It was gorgeous.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make an Spanish omelette. I can learn many things. I like to learn something new everyday. We can share mostly all :)
