ABOUT ME

these are a few of my favorite things:
the tingling feeling in my feet after riding my skateboard for too long. the way homemade chicken and dumplings broth soaks up in bread. fog. the crinkling sound a turning page makes in an old book. walking in the rain.... trees swaying during storms. silent indescribable beauty. making people happy. watching people have a good time.....

the prickly feeling that crawls up your spine when you feel like you're being watched. watching raindrops fall on water. the smile right before a hug is given between you and a friend that you haven't spoken with in a long time.... clouds that look like a squashed layer of cotton balls against a bright orange sky. the whole process of watching fireflies, chasing them, catching them, observing them, holding your finger out, and watching them fly away. ..........

the smell of used book stores. just looking at someone makes me smile. buying things for other people, especially those i don't know very well. curtains rustling from the wind. sitting on the stone stairs that lead down to the river. reaching the tip of the mountain and watching the view come up......

the smell of honeysuckles. pre-storm winds. skimming my fingertips across the waters surface....... roads with tree canopies, when it suddenly feels like a certain time of year .... the energy of a stage, candy shops in the winter, crooked lampshades. eating peaches straight from the can, skeletal days during the winter, Thai taste.. well-planned tea parties, family photos....

crafting something new from something old. a thick warm blanket on a cold winter day, the morning sunlight. the resolve of tension in music. the coo of a pigeon..... falling asleep on my father's couch, the disappearance of a floater when fishing. breakfast in bed. swing dancing in the front yard...... road-trips on a whim

This past summer I went on a mission trip to Cuba and it was certainly amazing.

I have a strong Christian identity and would love to share my experiences if you are interested. I have knowledge as a musician in performing, technology, composing, and teaching. Furthermore, I can teach you to juggle.. and cat yodel.

My wife cooks a mean dinner, and I'm sure she could share a few recipes. She can also be mighty crafty; need ideas for a room to be redecorated? She's your lady.
