CURRENT MISSION
Learning (In the broadest sense of the term)
ABOUT ME
All about me would take too long! Let's just say that I am a reasonably sociable person. I am used to live in foreign countries (I spent 6 years in The Netherlands, 4 months in England and now I am based in Toulouse, France) and I like to contact people that have a different cultural background than I have.
PHILOSOPHY
I am absolutely against violence of any sort. I always try to be respectful and helpful to others. I believe in self-responsibility and freedom of choice. Consequently I do not like anybody telling me what to do without convincing me there is a good reason for doing it. I think I would never fit in an army... Live, let live and help living if requested could be my motto.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I just started so so far I participate by offering a couch to surf with!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I recently travelled alone around California and it was a very nice way to contact wonderful people!
Interests
We could say I am the sort of intellectual type? I like reading a lot, I have an interest in history and politics. I also enjoy going to the not so commercial movies and I like music (I used to play the piano) and particularly jazz.
I am now restarting with the climbing (The Netherlands was not the best country to practice) and recently I developed a fondness for Traditional Dancing

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is a bit eclectic so I do not have anything like a favourite movie, singer or book. Anyway, if I have to mention something I would recommend the short stories of some Catalan writers like Quim Monzó or Pere Calders. They are amazing! One of my favourite TV series is The Simpsons. As for music, except techno I like almost everything, from Bach to Dire Straits.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, considering that it is something I will certainly do only once in my life I consider amazing getting a PhD (including the whole process of living in another country, working with 20 different nationalities, etc.)
Teach, Learn, Share
There are two topics I am prepared to teach about:
History and Culture of my country, Catalonia and Weather Radar Meteorology.
As for things I would like to learn I am very curious so just try to explain and I promise I will listen
