Hitting the higher education in order to further human expansion into outer space. So far, I think I'm doing pretty well.

ABOUT ME

Born in Rhode Island, grew up in New Jersey. Always been nerdy and shy, except when I'm not shy. I love learning new things, meeting new people, and hearing stories.

I didn't do too well in high school, so joined the Air Force when I was 20. The military taught me how to work hard, and now I'm going into my second year of PhD at a very good school.

I have two dogs, love chicken parmesan, enjoy dark humor, and I have a very open mind and caring heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only ever stayed on friends couches or hosted friends. Never met a stranger to stay at their place before. Now I have to drive cross country for an internship, and in the interests of saving money and adventure, decided this was the way to go.

I'd love to learn more hands on things, too. I used to work on my first car a lot, but anything that requires skill - carpentry, mechanics, masonry, glass blowing - when I have more free time I'll teach myself. Otherwise maybe I can help you put up a barbecue pit?
