I'm a creative producer for a TV station in Chicago, an avid traveler and I love experiencing new foods and cultures. I'm pretty buttoned down and mature. That being said, when I get relaxed, I become very playful and may "meow" at people. I enjoying smaller gatherings rather than loud, raucous parties. I love traveling, cooking, backpacking, camping and playing sports but I don't enjoy watching sports. I'm also a film nerd and enjoy all types of movies and shows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled the world but since the pandemic I've been stuck at home with limited social interactions. I only recently discovered Couchsurfing and thought it would be a great way to bring the world to me in safe, manageable numbers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge 80's music lover but I also enjoy EDM and pop. Favorite movies include the LoTR trilogy, Braveheart, Se7en and Chungking Express. Books would be the Philip Pullman Dark Material trilogy and nearly anything from Stephen King or Dean Koontz (I'm a big horror fan.)

Skydiving, hang-gliding, and being a helicopter cameraman.

I'm not very versed with Chicago but I know enough to be helpful. Tourist traps, eateries, bars, etc. I could also offer rides if my schedule allows and possibly meals.
