About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work hard and enjoy the California sunshine.

ABOUT ME

I'm a computer guy for a profession, but do so much more than that. I'm a yogi, aspiring surfer, and regular hiker.

I'm working my way exploring the US, and will eventually get to Europe (sometime or the other). I would like to end up, ultimately, in Israel.
Otherwise, I'm an open, energetic, and dynamic person. I love interesting people, unique experiences, and new things.

PHILOSOPHY

If you will something, then it is no dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I’ve been on Couchsurfing for years now, and am happy to finally have my own place and spare room! And when I travel, I typically surf- it gives you a far deeper cultural experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went up the California coast. Not only was the coastal geography itself unbelievable, but the people were too. I couchsurfed much of the way up, including La Jolla, Beverly Hills, and Oakland. In Palo Alto, a girl invited me for a beach trip the next day. After the (stunning) trip, when I was about to leave for a hostel in San Fransisco, I was invite to stay as long as I wanted in their small home. It was an unbelievable time.

Interests

I've got too many wildly diverse interests: hiking, movies, electronics, games, heavy metal, food, friends, putting furniture together, political discussions, road trips, philosophy, math....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up to 12,00 feet through Grant's pass in the sierra Nevada mountains with 3 friends. And also hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and
out over 2 weeks. Driving down the Pacific Coast highway in California. Mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, for hundreds of miles.
Or maybe hosting the coolest people in my apartment. They've left me awestruck a few times.
Last, I've climbed before dawn an ancient Jewish fortress above the Dead Sea in Israel. Seeing the sun rise on the lowest spot in the world is something I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach most people a lot about computers (although there are many more who know more then me). How to use them, how they work, which parts are which, etc.
I also know really esoteric geography, especially about North America and Israel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

How to cook Jewish, American, and quite a few other foods., A pretty good knowledge of LA, and more.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Israel, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, United States
