CURRENT MISSION

I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I want to settle down in one place but I really believe you enjoy a place more if you live in it properly and there are still so many places I want to experience.

ABOUT ME

I'm a mixed bag. Born and grew up in Scotland, had a flash when I was 20 and did one year of uni in Singapore. From there, I just enjoy floating around and enjoying all life throws - good and bad.

I have good friend who describes me as "not normal" but she swears she means it as a compliment...

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I'm a host but beware all you hosters out there....I think I'll be coming! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in March 2009, just after I registered. I hosted Francis and Miranda from Taiwan and attended the monthly meeting at Hart's Pub. All very positive and enjoyable so long may it continue!

Since then (until aug 09), I've hosted 22 people, from a bunch of different places (but mainly France) over 82 days. They have brought a bunch of different things and I'm happy to say that some are now friends.

Is travelling and meeting new people a given here?

When I'm at my "home", sport would be top of that list whether it's playing (golf, football, touch rugby, badminton and more) or watching just about anything.

Also like taking photos. I often get the odd, spectacular one but I'm not the best and mainly do it so as I'm not in the photo :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My skydive in Taupo, New Zealand to try and cure my fear of flying. It didn't cure my fear but it was an incredible experience and I still remember the thought process I went through from getting onto the plane to landing.
