About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To document the world I live in with the hope of learning more. Trying to learn the basics of electronic music production

ABOUT ME

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE PROFILE. I feel it not so important to babble on about the kind of person that I think I am as its up to you the surfer/host to make up your mind. Although for those of you who do enjoy having an idea what kind of mess you may find yourself in,here goes. Im a 27 yrs young with no regrets and I intend to keep it this way.At the moment I'm travelling/living in Venezuela working on long term documentary projects.

PHILOSOPHY

who dares wins!! and regret nothing.Try to learn something new every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Id like to think i participate in a big way as i was 1 of 6 ppl who set up London's first and second only complete CS house where we hosted i imagine nearly 150ppl in the last yr and hope to continue this(in a new location) when i get back from my nxt journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in several parts of the world with many joyous occasions(especially in Austin TX) and will avidly continue crossing off destinations on my world map 1 country at a time.

Interests

My main interest is documentary photography and photo-journalism. Journalism,Politics,Gender issues,Social issues and environmental issues. I'am yet to find my main focus.Hobbies mainly perfecting my photography,Improving my Spanish in the hope of learning French,German and Russian at some point I would like to start yoga classes and become slightly more spiritual and taking better care of my body but I have not breached that wall yet. I use to play drums but as I cannot travel with a whole drum kit,I am now learning the basics of electronic music production.Generally taking an interest in what goes on in the world and most recently, covering my body in TATOO'S Last but not least I was a chef for 8 years so I still enjoy cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: is endless but at the minute lots of Trentemoller,Modeart, DARKSIDE, Recondite and of course BONOBO,The Middle East,The XX,Lots of funk Xavier Rudd ,Bon iver and always the reliable back bone of TOOL and a perfect circle with a dash of The BAND,BEIRUT and Sigur Ros, FUCKING MOGWAI,RADIOHEAD,GODSPEED YOUR BLACK EMPEREOR,sly and the family stone, emancipator,Alexi Murdoch,Puscifer,John Butler trio.

Movies:BEAST OF THE SOUTHERN WILD. can also range from anything from Tarantino,Wes Anderson also the likes of requiem for a dream, lemon vodka, amores perros, anything else(woody allen)Goodfellas,Donnie Brasco and other gangster greats to classics like trainspotting, magnolia and the best movie ever goes to Withnail and I but basically I much prefer older movies with real substance and attention to the script and not so much green scene.

Books:confessions of an economic hitman, eating animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, Dr Mengelee's assistant or Nothing to envy by Barbara Demick.I find it hard to have the patience to read for hours unfortunately although I'am trying to change that but I basically read the news all day so if you have and reccomendations, feel free.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
