Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To change the world.
ABOUT ME
I am interested in making a difference in the world, hopefully one day we can eliminate extreme poverty and create a better world. I guess I am a bit too idealistic but why give up now?
I love meeting travelers, find great joy in exchanging stories, information, advice and ideas with other like-minded souls.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all the same with subtle differences. The borders and dividing lines have slowed mankind's progress towards our ultimate goal of peace and prosperity. Tear down the walls that separate us and free your mind of restrictive thoughts. The opportunity is ripe and it is time to reap our bountiful harvest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to promote the once commercial free CS network from the very beginning. I volunteered with and worked with CS before it was forced to become a for-profit by the IRS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with people all over the world, some have been longtime friends, while others I have met at train stations or other various places. I have stayed and hosted people I have met online with no problems.
Interests
Travelling, Photography, Reading, Writing, Hiking, Trekking, Collecting Things, Languages, Archaeology, Ethnology, Ethnobotany, Economics, Art, and Learning in General
My main passion is a project to create an amazing museum. Also I am really interested in creating bamboo eco-villages in all climates centered around teahouses. I'm all about saving the existing forests and helping society live more harmoniously in communion with nature and the forces of the universe. We have the ability to come together now like no time in the past. The global community of couchsurfers has shown for years that we can co-exist and maintain a stable network based on a network or web of trust between people by using a personal reference system that is mainly based on a system of people who have actually met in person.
