About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've been traveling for more than 3 decades and still am always thrilled by new people and places.

ABOUT ME

About 6 years ago I retired and moved to Colombia! I built quite a large house. I don't host much these days as I prefer work-away volunteers who contribute in some way, but it can't hurt to ask. Life is an adventure--we should enjoy it. Love to meet new and interesting people. I have a very blessed life. At last count I've been to over 100 countries, and lived in 11, but quite a few more to go!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy. Be kind. Share. Look for the human connection with everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Discovered couch surfing almost 10 years ago and I think it's one of the best things on the planet. I host when I can and I surf and meet people whenever I travel--which is a lot! Looking forward to more...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly excellent experiences, though there is the occasional hiccup, which is only human. I love it! Haven't hosted much lately as I discovered work-away and have had a lot of volunteers helping me with my building. That is also a wonderful experience.

Interests

Many varied interests--of course traveling, artistic endeavors such as decorating. Also avid tennis player--I even have a court!
