About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Postponing growing up.

ABOUT ME

I am pretty outgoing, and I am always up for a good time. I laugh pretty easily, be it from good or bad jokes. I love meeting new people from all over the world. I taught English in Japan for 5 years.

PHILOSOPHY

I might die crossing the street, so I better have fun while I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting. Meeting up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I got on Couchsurfing myself, I had a couple of friends who did it. One of them had a guest over and she wanted to see an area that was closer to me, so my friend asked me if I could host her. She was such a great guest and I enjoyed meeting her so much that I decided to join the community.

Interests

I love scuba diving and hiking. When I stop being constantly busy, I like to sit outside with a book and when the weather isn't good, I like to watch TV series. I also like to knit/crochet silly hats and other more traditional garments for myself and friends. I love learning languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read and liked: Life of Pi (Yann Martel), L'amour dure 3 ans (Frederic Beigbeder), Oryx and Crake (Margaret Atwood), The Handmaid's Tale (Margaret Atwood), and many others.

I love watching movies, I don't have a favourite genre. I have watched and liked: 500 Days of Summer, The Matrix, Inception, Mr. Nobody, The Holiday, Argo, Wreck-It Ralph, Hitchcock and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Kohechi part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route (70 km, 5 mountains in Wakayama & Nara, Japan), hiked Mt. Fuji (3 times), scuba diving at the Seaventures Dive Rig in Malaysia, ran the Tokyo Marathon in 2015.
