About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To stretch myself until I can circumnavigate the globe without moving
ABOUT ME
I've forced myself to stick to one city since wandering aimlessly and gloriously for two years prior. San Francisco is as good as it gets, but I'm still all about picking a new city and exploring the hell out of it when I can. I do ghostwriting, blogging and marketing communications on the day to day. All those things that more important people write? That's me.
PHILOSOPHY
I studied philosophy in college, so this is a loaded question. It's hard to resist the philosophy of so many just-graduated philosophy majorsâthat is: "philosophy doesn't pay." Of course, as soon as it comes up I can't resist talking about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I dream of couchsurfing...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just three couches officially surfed (several unofficially) but they were some of the most positive and interesting travel experiences I have had... I hope to couch surf more and host once I have more space to do so.
Interests
All over the map, both literally and figuratively. Write a lot, because that's what I doâhad a travel writing blog at brownpassports.wordpress.com that I unfortunately no longer write there because, alas, I've stopped traveling. Been getting deep into improv comedy recently, and have a sizable repertoire of fake accents. Other than that, I bike, run barefoot, do yoga, meditate, try out alternative diets and habits/lifestyles. Also volunteer for a crisis hotline, so I may not have seen it all, but I've certainly heard it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly interested in what I haven't heard yet... but especially electronic and more dance-y or post-punk-y indie. Also been exploring classical music a lot lately, which has been a rich experience. I'm always down to hear new things.
Books, I like poetry, novels and travel writing/essays like the New Yorker. I love great movies, especially of more artistic/cinematic style.
