ABOUT ME

I'm interested in things that don't stay static. It's one of the reasons I like to travel so much. If ever I stay in one place or situation too long, things get tedious and boring. Constant change is the only way to truly experience the world.

I'm a 21 year old college student, currently trying to figure out what to do with my life. I've realized that traveling is really the best sort of education that one can receive.

PHILOSOPHY

I firmly believe that one must do everything in one's power to enjoy oneself and be happy during the time one has on this earth. Such happiness naturally manifests itself in different ways for different people. One reason why the world is such a fascinating place and one reason I really like to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS community, however, I have a couch that will be available come September. I'm currently traveling in Europe, hoping to do some surfing and begin to get involved.

Interests

I like film, interacting with native citizens to the countries I visit, seeing historical sights, reading, all types of music, hiking, being outdoors, partying, and pretty much anything else.

My favorite contemporary directors are Quentin Tarantino and Terrence Malick, favorite authors include Joyce, Waugh, and Faulkner, among many.

I like all sorts of music, but I really enjoy electronic stuff (especially trance), indie rock and classic rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a flying boat once. It was quite the unusual and remarkable experience.
