About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the parts of Europe I haven't gotten the chance to see without spending all of my money! I'd like to see many places but still experience the genuine culture

PHILOSOPHY
Life's too short to not enjoy every moment of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First time couchsurfing! Unfortunately, I've never been to any of the places I'm traveling to this summer so I don't have friends that I can visit! Although I don't have many references I promise I'm a friendly person and a gracious guest.
Interests
Much of my free time is consumed with singing in three groups: the Pitt Men's Glee Club, the Pantherhythms (an a capella group), and a local church choir. Other than that I enjoy spending time with my beautiful girlfriend and the best friends a guy could ask for.
I'm a double major with two minors, and I also work in a lab as an assistant so I keep pretty busy! But I always make sure that I'm enjoying myself.
Because of the traveling I've done, I've gone from one of the pickiest eaters you'll ever meet to being open to most types of food. I love to eat and I'm looking forward to having many delicious meals during my time in Europe this summer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty much all genres, but I have some favorite artists in each, like Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Biggie Smalls, Mos Def, Norah Jones (my guilty pleasure), Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, the Beatles, John Legend, Frank Ocean, the Punch Brothers, the Stanley Brothers, the Avett brothers
Movies: Inglorious Bastards, The King's Speech, Catch Me if You Can, the Bourne Series, Casino Royale
Books: The Elegant Universe, Angela's Ashes, the Harry Potter series (I grew up with them so there's a special place in my heart for them)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During the Summer of 2010, I was really fortunate to explore Italy, Greece, and Ireland with three of my best friends. Through WWOOF we worked on a vineyard in Tuscany and lived in a medieval castle! It was like a fairytale.
During my trip this summer, I'm planning on working on a vineyard in Ronda, Spain, and I'm very excited for it!
