About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring and learning from the lands of South America, continuing on my healing path

ABOUT ME

I feel the information below is pretty descriptive, but in a few words I guess I would describe myself as a free flow traveler, someone who tries to enjoys fully all the pleasure of life, who tries to live her life with as much compassion, gratitude, trust and love as she can. I am constantly learning so much about myself and this crazy universe, I feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life, to be able to call such a beautiful place home and have the incredible freedom I do to choose...whatever that may be.

PHILOSOPHY

how can we change or improve the world around us if we have not yet focused on improving ourselves first? One must look inward before trying to have a significantly positive effect outward.

trying to stay present in every moment not focusing on the past or future

Trust yourself and learn to love yourself fully, trust in the universe!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Almost Famous, Across the Universe, Forrest Gump, Into the Wild, Pirate Radio, The Little Princess, Avatar, Blow, Candy, All disney movies!
I really enjoy informative documentaries (The Cove, Home, 2012 Science or Superstition, E-Game,Zeitgeist)

I love to read! There's farr too many books to tell of, i feel like i am always hearing of new ones i want to read and really can't keep up. Always have one on the go sometimes three at a time hah...i like my philosophy books, the odd fictional adventure story is always good i recently read the Hobbit and loved it.

Music is my other language, I like such a diverse amount of it from Bluegrass to Psychedelic Electronic to Classic Rock, the FUNK, jazz you name it. I think it is one of the most beautiful ways to connect and bring people together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Bocos del Toro,Panama last year I received the pleasure of witnessing a leatherback turtle lay her eggs (over 150) before being caught in the most heavy thunder and lightning storm of my life, far away from any shelter in torrential downpour. It was an incredible experience where I really got to see the power of nature and afterwards couldn´t have felt a deeper appreciation for simply having shelter from the storm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to hemp/macrame or if you're more into beaded jewelry using wire i have learned a few things working with tools making feather earrings etc.
i can extend my knowledge of yoga with others :) it is something i absolutely love, i try and practice every day even if only for a little while.
Also i would love to share my growing knowledge of vegetarian and vegan/raw vegan cooking/un-cooking!
I feel I am a very good listener, it is something I have worked on in my life and feel now to be a strong and positive attribute. If you ever have anything you wish to share and simply need someone with open ears, an unbiased opinion, who can try their best to lend some intentional advice I am here for you. Good conversation over a cup of tea is one of my favorite things to do. :)
