ABOUT ME

I was born and lived most of my formative years overseas, both in Venezuela (birth - 3) and the Dominican Republic (12 years). Through this, I was instilled with a great appreciation for different cultures. I love the idea of being a third-culture person: where you mix your "home" culture with a "foreign" culture to become a person embodying a culture that is entirely a mish-mash of the two/or more.

Lately, I live in Springfield, MO as a teacher with my wife, who also teaches high school. During our summers, we half work and half travel on the money we make from that. It's nice to have the summers off. We both love to travel, enjoy art, music, and new cities. We both find it thrilling to talk to strangers with good stories.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know.
