About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to open the eyes.

ABOUT ME

Someone passionate for the world and people. Always thinking about a better way to do things (the problem is that sometimes thinking a lot isn't so good). Nowadays I've been trying to find my own path, day after day.

PHILOSOPHY

Just want my way to Ithaca to be the longest possible so that I can feel the blowing wind over and over again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Giving and taking back, hosting and being hosted, going around the city to discover what humans have inside...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in Europe in 2007. It was a hard time, but I have learned many important lessons! England and France, simply beautiful! In 2010 I was back, more mature, better prepared. Couches in Poland and Italy. Fantastic! 2011 began hot, well, actually cold, in Russia. I enjoyed it so much that I am now living here.

Interests

I used to play the keyboards, so I love music and musical technology. I love Philosophy and having time to read again would be great. As a good Brazilian, I love soccer and other sports. Trips and friends are always welcome for long discussions.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: topic ones, mainly historical and philosophical, of course. Socrates, Saint Augustine and Descartes by Rossellini; When Nietzsche Wept by P. Perry; Joyeux Noel by Christian Carion and others.
Music: Rock n' Roll (hard rock from the 70s and 80s; pop/rock - Brazilian from 80s and 90s and international; post-grunge; some melodic and epic metal); Samba (Chico Buarque, Cartola and others from "old school" plus Seu Jorge and some considered new); MPB (Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Maria Betânia, Dominguinhos, Zé Ramalho and many others).
Books: too many to describe. "Basically" I appreciate: Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Seneca, St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Machiavelli, Bacon, Descartes, Locke, Leibniz, Hobbes, Rousseau, Montesquieu, Voltaire, Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, Marx, among others. No, I don't have time to read them all. ))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thinking about something minimally objective to write here.
