Chill guy, very easy to get along with. Very considerate. I enjoy socializing and really getting to know people.

Currently, live in DC for grad school. Born and raised in Chicago. Lived and worked in LA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think there’s something special about hanging out with folks who are locals and actually know where I am visiting. There is nothing more important to me than human connection and getting to know people and make friends. I haven’t travel much in my life and trying to make that happen on a grad student budget and in a way that isn’t as traditionally touristy.

Interests

I was a high school special education teacher and now on my way to grad school. I like to play volleyball, swim, sing, play guitar, watching movies and TV.

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to all music. More of a TV fan than movie. Here are a few of both: HIMYM, Friends, New Girl, Scandal, Lucifer, HTGAWM, Criminal Minds, Grace and Frankie, Schitt's Creek, among others. Ocean’s 11, Lion, Les Mis, Mean Girls, Home Alone, Pitch Perfect, probs forgetting many.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a marathon! (The other official race I ran was a 5K in high school haha.) I’m gonna cheat and add another: I’ve sung at the Kennedy Center before.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach ya how to play guitar and volleyball. I love love love to learn (I am a grad student after all!).
