CURRENT MISSION
Im traveling around the US in a campervan hitting every piece of singletrack I can. Might climb some rocks on the way as well. Ultimately headed for Kentucky for work.
ABOUT ME
I pick banjo (when I can), mountain bike almost every day, climb, build trails, and am almsot always up for a new adventure. I also live part time in a van.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for experience, love, adventure, people, and nature. "My life mission is to be a happy old man."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been travelling or living in pretty remote places for the last few years, so I haven't had much of an opportunity to host, but this summer I will be working in some national park.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed all over the united states.
Interests
Ill ride about any single track I can get two wheels on. Probably only bouldering at V4 right now. Generalist with skills. I know a little bit about a lot of things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: bluegrass, blues, some hipster stuff, folk, and many other genres. Books: Herman Hesse, Tom Robbins, Jon Steinbeck, Aldo Leopold, Edward Abbey Dessert Solitaire, and natural history books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled through back roads in the Peruvian Andes by motorbike without a map. Also, I rode a $280 motorcycle through Vietnam, South to North.
Teach, Learn, Share
Climbing technique, mountain biking, wood working, all kinds of other stuff.
