About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am passionate about health and creativity for me this is a natural way of living. I resonate with Indigenous culture who apparently don't have a word for creativity since they view it as a natural way of life.

ABOUT ME

At heart people often remind me of the gifts I share as being essentially the spark of creativity. I love exploring what makes life most inspiring and drawing on music, art, poetry, food and nature both within and around me as a way to commune and discover what's possible.

In 2017 I Crowdfunded my first book the Rainbow Turtle, Golden Dolphin, a fully illustrated art book full of paintings and meditations exploring the messages of mother earth.

I am currently drawn to travel and share this book and it's messages, particularly after everything that has been happening globally.

I cultivate an appreciation for various different walks of life. I want to experience the spark of life in people, places and things. Though this can often require some shifting of perspectives.

Connection with people warms my heart, because it sparks my spirit and ability to grow and learn to more fully embrace life in all its variable intricacies.

I live the ocean and would enjoy sailing and surfing new places. So far I have surfed in in Australia across the east coast and some of the West coast, in the river in Munich , Germany, in Bali, Indonesia and in Hawaii (my favourite!)

PHILOSOPHY

Trust life and forget people pleasing and begin loving yourself and others without reservation.

Love so boldly that fear is replaced with a courage so palpable it gives you wings to achieve your Calling so that the world is made a far better place by you being in it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I truly enjoy learning about how people live and all the gifts that come from sharing. I enjoy opening my heart up to the world. I often find myself blown away by the huge hearts of people that I meet.

What an amazing opportunity to share the lives we live and contribute even if it's as small as a chance to open up my home to a visiting traveller, hear a story or two of their life, to show them around my part of the world, make music with them, paint, enjoy good food, walks in nature or simply chill. And when I am travelling to learn about human acts of kindness and how we are all looked after, one way or another, what ever leap of faith we take, there is someone out there that has our back covered.

So why stress?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted couchsurfers since 2009. I love it!

There are so many beautiful soul's who I appreciate contributing to.

I find whatever I give, I am given back. Often in ways that surprise me. Prompting me to open my heart and mind to the abundance of the Universe.

I have found some terrific friendships, these are not ordinary friendships, the kinship is palpable regardless of physical distance.

The hearts of fellow travellers beats on and our connection in the circle of life remains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had a private audience with the Dalai Lama.

Travelled to the most amazing art galleries in Europe.

Learnt to paint with Tibetan monks, taught art therapy to Tibetan children in Tibetan where I grew up in the HImalaya's. Went surfing in a river in Munich.

Climbed the Himalayan mountains in a pair of thongs with someone who I had a crush on... haha

Went surfing with a huge pod of 20 dolphins, also surfed with whales.

Was painting live with some of the most amazing artists I know like Alex Grey, Amanda Sage, Autumn Skye, Collin Elder at the Eclipse Festival in Australia 2011.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn as I teach. Some of the things that give me great joy is watching people's lives transform as a result of sharing some of what the generous and kind masters have taught me as I have grown in meditation, painting, yoga, Chi Kung, Tai Chi, massage and Art Therapy.

What I Can Share with Hosts
