About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world as much as I can
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Finland, but have been living in Sweden for quite some time now. Never thought I would stay, but Stockholm has grown on me and I enjoy the opportunities the city has to offer in culture as well as nature. That being said, most of my free time goes by doing different sports -lately especially dancing - or with friends from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Always try it first before you say it's not for you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have been part of the CS community for few years now and been both a guest as well as the host. Hope to continue in the same way, although I wish I had more time to do both!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had nice hosts during my travels in Rome and North America and CS definitely made the trips better.
Interests
I like to excercise a lot and try new things! It can be hiking, jogging, football, climbing, ultimate frisbee, dancing, rugby or just playing pool or cards - you name it. I guess I'm trying to say that I throw myself into most things if I get the chance!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my weak point! I do like almost anything especially if I get to dance to it, but I hardly ever listen to anything and usually I don't pay attention to the name of the band or the song. Suggestions are welcome and as a spontaneous person I will join for concerts no matter who is playing ;)
I go to movies quite regularly, but my regular movie buddy just moved back to States, so we'll see how things develop. Regardless, I enjoy most fantasy/science fiction movies with action - those are the best ones to see in the theatre anyway. The artsy types of movies are interesting, but those I rather watch at home.
I always have a book on my night desk. Even here fantasy/science fiction is my favourite. Lately I've been reading the Dune series from Frank Herbert. Other series I follow are The demon cycle from Peter V. Brett and Lightbringer by Brent Weeks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First thing that just got into my mind was the time I was in Iceland and a friend of mine took us to a hot spring hidden away in the rift crossing the country. It was pitch dark but we still climbed down and once we reached the bottom of the rift we found candles and saw this amazing structure with several pools of hot water just waiting for us to jump in!
Teach, Learn, Share
How about I teach you finnish tango, it's pretty special!
