Overview
About Me
We are only an hour north of Christchurch, on a country road. We have two children - a boy (15) and a girl (10) plus 2 adults in the house. We also have three small dogs. None of us smoke, especially the dogs.
We are a Christian, homeschooling family. You are welcome to join us for Sunday services at our small country church.
We have a large comfortable home. You will have a private room and unlimited WiFi. We have netflix!
We have bicycles for you to use .
We require that surfers allow us to photocopy the front page of their passports at the beginning of their stay.
Many people are now sending bulk replies without reading the host description. If you wish to be considered please write the word "KIWI" at the beginning of your request email. This will confirm to me you have read this entire section.
Thanks for reading such a long introduction!
I look forward to hearing from you. Joanna

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. Especially historical novels and biographies. I also enjoyed "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns." I like audible books and my favourite so far is "The power of One" by Bryce Courtney. I don't like watching TV much, and usually fall asleep in movies.
We attend the local Church, and you are welcome to join us.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Relocated houses. That was pretty exciting. We've also lived in Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney, Auckland and Canterbury.
We've been part of the movie "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", and other movies, TV shows and ads.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Accommodation, food. Conversation, board games, puzzles and our district.
