ABOUT ME

HEY GUYS!
I am Johnny, I am 19 years old, I am really quite tall (6'4") and love seeing new places. I currently work as a Charity Fundraiser, which lets me see places around the Midlands but I want to spread my wings further afield and travel across the UK a bit more! Ever since I passed my driving test over 6 months ago I have been dying to go on a road trip somewhere, but it has never come to fruition. I feel sofa surfing could give me the opportunity to get out there and see these green and pleasant lands (in the words of William Blake)

I never know what to put in the personal philosophy section.

i guess my philosophy is everything happens for a reason, you don't need to know the reason, but there is a reason for everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am Looking for couches I can kip on over weekends, possibly after a night out in a club or something similar. I cannot offer any accommodation at the moment (still live with parents) but as soon as that changes I will be offering my sofa to any other willing surfers, so watch this space

Interests

Things I am interested in include: All sorts of music, i literally listen to everything from Metallica to Mozart, from Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Rihanna, Pink Floyd to Professor Green; I am also a massive American Football fan, following the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers; I play guitar, though I am not very good through lack of practice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Douglas Adams, Bill Bryson, JK Rowling (i know...), Books about Physics or how the world works.

Music: Everything! there is more I like than I dislike, if it has a catchy beat or clever lyrics I am all over it!

Movies: Not a huge film fan, some of the more random films i do like include: Mamma Mia, StreetDance 3D, Step Up 3, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy and the greatest comedy film ever made... Hot Fuzz

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done was spend 2 weeks sailing around the Ionian islands in Greece. Its properly beautiful out there, the water is warm, the beer is cold the towns are friendly! Its such an awesome place to visit! I would recommend to all!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a massive fan of Physics so i enjoy telling people about how the world works in various ways.
I play guitar and can teach some basic chords etc.
Anything else just ask and i am sure i can find out something to exchange
