Overview
About Me
I'm a researcher in mathematics. Yeah, don't worry, mathematicians are friendly people. In everyday life, when people hear the word maths, they would just change the topic and avoid mentioning this again, and it's even worse when they meet somebody working on maths! Maths can be cute and beautiful, we may just have a small discussion and your viewpoint may be changed! Mathematicians are not horrible people who live in their world, they are interested in a lot of different things too!
Concerning my personality, I'm not very at ease if I'm surrounded by a lot of people, especially those I meet for the first time. But once we've become friends, I can't stop talking! Otherwise, I'm open to different cultures, different types of food and different way of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find back things which are lost in the modern society: trust, love, share and friendship.
Interests
Nature. I love mountains, lakes and all the amazing scenes that the mother nature offers us! So there's no doubt that I spend the most of my weekends hiking, cycling and practicing other sports in mountains. And when I travel, I'm always looking for some green places around! ;)
I love learning languages too, although I'm not so talented. Every language represents a way of thinking, a philosophy. And when I travel, it's even more useful. This helps me understand local cultures easier and allows me to order and handle some basic conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I came to Europe at age of 18 alone to study and realized that the world is so big!
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages: I can teach French, Mandarin and Taiwanese. I know these languages well and I learned French as a foreigner, so I know what the difficulties are. ;)
Food: I cook almost everyday when I'm home (meaning Geneva). I can prepare some Taiwanese, French, Swiss or even Indian meals. :P
Trips: I know quite a lot nice places to visit in France and in Taiwan. If you need advice, I could also help. Moutains around Geneva are nice too by the way!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking - some traditional Taiwanese food. :)
