About Me
NOT ACCEPTING GUESTS BECAUSE FULL FOR NOW. SORRY!!
----------
Just doing my thing in New York City. On my ninth year here and have lived in my current apartment for 6.5 years. I regulate clinical trials at Columbia University Medical Center. In my free time, I am big into open water swimming, hiking, Tahitian dancing, music (making, listening, AND watching), and all things art, literature, and film related. Oh, and I like food, drink, and traveling, too, just like all of us on here.
P.S. I do everything in my ability to respond to EVERYONE who messages me. The sub-100% Response Rate is when stay requests have expired after I already communicated to the requestor whether I can or cannot host.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share
I live in Brooklyn, NYC with a very cool and mature 34 year old male roommate who teaches math in NYC public high schools. We share a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor of a 4-story walk-up brownstone house that's a block from the lovely Prospect Park in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn (off the F/G train). We have a fire station nearby and the neighborhood has lots of young families plus a good mix of all kinds of New Yorkers, so there's a very nice residential feel to the area.
Our place isn't super fancy, but has a long living room area with a firm, sofa. I also have an inflatable twin air mattress and plenty of clean bedding. When weather is nice and if you feel adventurous, there's always the rooftop for a night under the stars, with an unbelievable view of the Manhattan skyline and beyond.
If you don't need a place, I'm always happy to show people around or give them suggestions. After being here this long, I think I know a little something about the metropolis...
