About Me
(Please make sure to read the “my home” section! Thanks.)
Hi! I was born and raised in Beijing China, moved to the US when I was 18, lived there for seven years, and just moved to Okinawa Japan in September 2024!
My husband says I am a person who likes learning from and helping others. I try to understand the world by having different experiences with different people, sometimes through work, sometimes through volunteering, other times through just reading and talking with people.
I speak pretty okay Spanish and would love every opportunity possible to practice:)

Music, Movies, and Books
The BEATLES!! I like to listen to biographies on audiobook and explore different political podcasts to expand my worldview.
The book that probably changed my worldview the most - "The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark" by American astrophysicist Carl Sagan. It encouraged me to tune out the noises and look at the world from a rational, critical point of view.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping in Grant Teton National Park in the US and seeing the milky way for the first time was one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had
