Hi! I was born and raised in Beijing China, moved to the US when I was 18, lived there for seven years, and just moved to Okinawa Japan in September 2024!

My husband says I am a person who likes learning from and helping others. I try to understand the world by having different experiences from different people, sometimes through work, sometimes through volunteering, other times through just reading and talking with people who I don’t know and wouldn’t meet unless I tried. I’ve been learning Spanish and am beginning to study Japanese now because languages are important for understanding others and talking to people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve always wanted to do this but only recently got the courage after my husband and I went couchsurfing together for some travels. I think it’s so cool how people meet and share using this site
