ABOUT ME

I am thoughtful, friendly and I love sports, including basketball, archery and ultimate frisbee. I did not travel much until the past year studying abroad, and I loved visiting so many new places but have gotten tired of being just a tourist. I would really like to meet people instead and to experience different lifestyles rather than just trying to find great food or to take postcard pictures!

Interests

I am trying to see more of the world, experience more of life and to learn more about myself. I have started to grow out of computer games, which used to take up all my time together with sports. Apart from these, reading fantasy novels, meeting up with friends and drinking occasionally takes up most of my time in Singapore.

I spent my past year abroad in Bristol travelling both within the UK and around Europe. Learning to cook has been fun, and a great reason to meet up with friends- sampling food from other cultures and challenging myself to experiment with fancier dishes!

I would love to learn about other cultures and to break away from the commercialism and materialism of Singapore. Whether learning to soak in nature, appreciating life more, or to be inspired by the drive and passion of others, I look forward to Couch Surfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Very mainstream tastes in movies and music, I like most top hits but I am open to being educated! I read mainly fantasy and sci-fi, spending too much time on sports to read much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Aurora Borealis over Tromso after waiting 2 fruitless nights for it, and driving through the Vesterålen region left me dumbfounded by their beauty.
Horse-riding through rolling fields with pretty forests in the distance in New Forest, UK felt like I was living out the fantasy books that I read.
