Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way for strangers around the world to meet and become friends. In this day and age, friendship is able to surpass physical barriers, and that is a beautiful thing, don't you think?

I believe there is a difference between a traveller and a tourist. And couchsurfing sifts out the true explorer from the rest.

I yearn for adventures in the cramped city I live in. I love to meet new people from another face of the planet and immerse in the culture like how the locals do.

Intereses

It is in my blood to seek stories and tell them. Stories are all we have as humans — nothing connects us deeper than the stories we have, and the stories we make.

My love of languages also made me study Linguistics and Multilingual Studies in university. I happen to know quite a few of them pretty well, some not so good. If you find languages fascinating like I do, it would be a great to exchange some revelations about our languages.

Música, películas y libros

I like many kinds of books, it could be thought provoking ones like George Orwell, or fantasy ones like Harry Potter. Oh god I love Harry Potter.

TV shows are pretty standard. Game of Thrones is an easy favourite. Others will be like Westworld and Black Mirror — thought provoking and brilliant.

As for music, I am an avid listener to Kpop. And I especially love the Celtic songs by Adrian von Ziegler.

Meeting amazing people on Couchsurfing.

My friends and I lined up hand in hand, and I touched an electric fence, and the electric shock went by all of us. Screaming at the top of our lungs in the mountains of Switzerland, it was such a stupid and crazy moment, and we all need to be crazy sometimes!

I am very inquisitive so it's always fun when we can both learn stuff about our culture. Are you afraid language will be a barrier? No worries because I love languages and if you want to, you can choose between British or American English for me to speak! I also know a handful of languages and perhaps you can teach me more about yours.

Imagine connecting with a friend from the other side of the globe. Everyone is a walking book and you just have to flip open the pages and my stories will become yours.

I found out that there are only 2 things in this world worth investing in:
1) Experiences.
2) Friendships.
