About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel to Europe before my college ends!
ABOUT ME
I'm a university student in Beijing. I love adventures though I haven't traveled much--only been to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. I am now an exchange student in NYC, and I want to visit Europe before my college years end. I'm extroverted, funny and athletic. I love literature, and Daily show. I watch soaps and films often, whatever their nationality.
PHILOSOPHY
Overwhelmed by David Hume when reading his inquiry into human understanding. Pay homage to Immanuel Kant, especially for his personal discipline. Never stop loving Aristotle, though find it awkward every time his mathematical or physical theories are belied.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It just occurred to me the idea of joining CS was initiated by May-Lena, a German girl I met in Malaysia. It was sensational when I first heard of it: who would let strangers sleep over? Now, CS seems to me a dynamic community where different life paths cross.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am trying to meet more people now. Due to my circumstances as a student, without income, the best I can do is usually hanging out with travelers in Beijing or other CS members when I visit a certain place. I have benefited a lot from my CS experiences in Australia and I wish I could pass this gratefulness and generosity to new comers and anyone who is open-minded to embrace differences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Somerest Maugham, E.M.Foster, Isabel Allende, Nathaniel Hawthore, John Steinbeck, Edith Wharton. Just love classics! As for music, nothing particular.Sometimes listen to trite popular songs as well. Recently get really obsessed with Holiday by Green Day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am an extraordinarily profound person who understands the plainness of life -- OMG I cannot be more complacent. Sorry, back to the question. I wouldn't call anything I have done as amazing because I have not experienced much. However, this doesn't necessarily mean I don't cherish my life as a learner and a traveler. I think I am just still waiting for something even better.
