About Me

The place where I come from is a nice port city in South-east China. Since August 2014 I came to Netherlands to continue with my bachelor study, agricultural business.

I am an easy-going person and like to talk with different kinds of people. Keeping places and things under a super-clean condition is very important for me, dirty environment makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.

I like travelling, especially solo travel. Have been to quite a lot of places in China and gradually started the travels in Europe since August 2014. The reason I prefer solo travel is that it allows me to follow my own plan and enjoy the time in the whole journey, that makes everything of the trip becomes more flexible and easily. Meanwhile, solo travels allows me to meet new people in the journeys and it's fun to talk with them. Talking to strangers (new people) are different from when we talk to closed friends or family, it's interesting to have conversation with people you don't know before. I believe solo travel helps people get more experience and thoughts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard about CS from a South Korean friend and understood that this is a very popular way for solo travelers finding places to stay while they travel around, as well as a good way to meet local people and get chances to talk with them. Sharing different cultures and experience with local people would definitely be interesting.

Interests

Swimming, badminton, traveling, reading, long-distance hiking, getting to know different cultures, and anything related to history.
Have started reading historical books since very young, and while in travels I also particularly prefer to visit historical places and museum things.

Music, Movies, and Books

TED talks
Books: anything related to history, particularly enjoy Chinese history but international histories are also interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share the culture and travel experience to each other, also could be our own self-ideas about different interesting topics. Once we get into conversations I'm sure we would just talk widely in different interesting things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share some of our culture or national things to each other, to make each other know about another country.
Also, we can cook together for the dinners and I could prepare some simple but typical Chinese food for us.
