My name is Jay, people love to call me Coach J. I used to be a professional swimmer. I pursued my master’s degree and worked in the United States for many years. Now I’m back in China and have founded my own company: Flying Stars Sport. I’m really into outdoor hiking, snow mountain climbing, rock climbing and a whole range of other outdoor activities.

My company is mainly focus on outdoor sports. We mainly organize outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, hiking, rock climbing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and cycling for both adults and children. Our working and teaching language is English, which has attracted many participants from China and abroad.

Friends House serves as our regular venue for gatherings, classes, exchanges, and casual conversations. Old Friends House was founded by my friends John and Josh, and since they moved to other cities, the management of Friends House has been handed over to me.

My goal is to continue the tradition my friends started — a home where travelers can feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable. And the most imporant thing is that Friends House is located in the center of Chengdu City, which means its easy to travel to any areas of Chengdu.
