I'm Radu, a 27 years old Romanian guy currently living in Dubai. I love laughing, exploring and living in places that inspire me.

I try to live my life as honestly as possible, and always with an open heart and mind. I am ruled by my passions and find joy in almost everything I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am on Couchsurfing as I am going on a 14 days trip to Thailand and Vietnam (by myself) and planning to meet new people during my very first experience as a sole traveler.

I want to meet local people, to listen their stories, to live like they do and I am more than happy to share my stories about Romania and legends about Dracula :)

I have created this account 3 years ago but never used it for searching hosts. I have got few requests 2 years ago and hosted some travelers in my apartment while I was living in Croatia.

Interests

I am young and I want to travel the world while I am still young...(don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today).

Loving food and drinks too much and getting in touch with the Arabic cuisine more than two years ago "helped" me to gain quite a lot wight :)) and I am not proud of that.

I love photography and I make sure all the time that i get some amazing shots everywhere I go..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

:) Got my 83 years old Grandma to Dubai (her first-ever trip outside country, first-ever flight, first-ever skycraper, first-ever camel etc.)

I think this is and amazing thing I've done for the best Grandma in the world :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about cards and payments so I can teach and share lots of things about technology, innovation, mobile wallets, NFC, contactless payments, etc.
