关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Finding my way...
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty laid back and low key. Kind of shy at first, been working on being more outgoing. Most of the time I'm fairly level-headed, but it's fun to be goofy and laugh about silly stuff once in a while.
I'm not really a 'party' or 'club' type person, but I do find small groups of people to be a lot of fun.
Grad school recently ended and I am taking a vacation and checking out various opportunities; mostly just seeing what's going on.
I do not smoke with cigarettes or use drugs. I enjoy casual drinking, but I do not drink much nor very often.
PHILOSOPHY
I guess I would sum it up by saying, 1.) enjoy what you do, 2.) have fun whenever possible, 3.) as long as it doesn't hurt other people, 4.) and don't be afraid to step outside the comfort zone once in a while.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Only surfing so far. I'd like to host later when I get my own place. As for now, I do not think my roommates are as open to the idea as I am.

音乐、电影和书籍
I like board games: Pentago, Dominoes, and Apples to Apples are favorites.
I don't watch much live TV, but I watch a ton of cartoons on DVD.
Movies - Mostly comedies or action/adventure. No horror, please.
Music - Most of the stuff I like can be found on old skateboard video games. I also like checking out good local bands. Not big into radio hits.
Books - Sci-fi, fantasy, service manuals, text books, and a variety of fiction. More recently, I've been reading books about home-brewing, voice-acting, sales, starting a business, Microsoft Access, and investing.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I broke my collar bone on my first (and last) ever snowboarding trip at Kandatsu, Japan. A few things I can say about the experience:
1. Snowboarding is NOT like skateboarding, no matter how much you want it to be.
2. Real life snowboarding is NOT like Nintendo snowboarding, no matter how much you want it to be.
3. If you are committed to the idea of breaking part of your body while trying to break land-speed records on the side of a mountain, it is much easier to do so in a country that speaks your native language. I will say this, though: Japanese doctors can fix a mean figure-eight brace.
教,学,和分享
I try to be receptive to most any learning experience, but forgive me if I continually try to relate it to something I'm more familiar with.
What I can teach are a few things about computers, how to fix a few things around the house, some basic guitar chords, some motorcycle repair knowledge, and home-brewing basics.
