About Me

Currently backpacking across the world with my girlfriend Melanie! We are taking a shot at becoming travel content producers and are seeking out amazing experiences that are off the beaten path.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Used to host a LOT of Couchsurfers back in 2010-2014 in San Diego, but know I'm seeing if I can use Couchsurfing to make local friends in all the beautiful places I want to go! In my experience it is ALWAYS better to stay with a friendly host rather than staying at a hotel. It's not just about saving money (while that certainly helps a long-term backpacker like myself), but it also allows me a better glimpse into the everyday life of the people who live in the communities I visit. Nature is beautiful, but it's the humans living there that make a location truly unique.

Interests

Open to things that make us better people and help others! Not interested in judging or taking advantage of less fortunate.

Music, Movies, and Books

How do I even begin? MUSIC IS LIFE

Love movies that challenge my mind and make me think. Zombies movies, sci-fi movies, thrillers, horror.

It's much more likely to find me reading than it is to find me watching TV. I'm a huge nerd for fantasy books (Just finished the entire 14-book Wheel Of Time series), historical fiction, sci-fi!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a week living in a moss hut in the Upper Cascade Mountains of Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let me teach you how to dance, I have a 100% fool proof plan.

You teach me how to cook an amazing dish, and I'll never forget it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great vibes and energy, good cooking skills (to be determined), and good times!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Cambodia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, United States
