About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life"

ABOUT ME

I'm a sunny and friendly girl who loves to meet new people, deep conversations and laugh to death! Each person is better than us in something and we can always learn from them and pass on what we know. I'm fond of art in all its different forms, I enjoy travelling, couchsurfing and meeting new friends at hostels. I am a music fanatic and I love to attend gigs and to dance.
I am SUPER interested in getting to know different cultures and meeting people from around the world. There is nothing more fascinating than meeting folks with other background, history, language, traditions!

So, apart from music and travel, I enjoy small things in life, such as going to some cosy café to grab a hot chocolate and read a book, walking with my ipod watching the world passing by, chilling in the park on sunny days, cycling and get lost. I won't never stops saying it: beauty is in the details!

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice and people will be nice to you!:)

Buddhism is my philosophy (not my religion). I believe in Causality, the relationship between cause and effect. To have a mental right attitude helps to be in peace with your mind. Happiness is a pure state of mind, it's not determined by external events!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling doesn't consist only in visiting a new place, there is lot more than that. Travelling is about people, meeting new friends, sharing thoughts, ideas, stories. It's about the local, the hidden side, something that 'normal tourists' miss out.

At the moment I unfortunately can't host people myself, but I did it in the past and it was like having a new family for a couple of days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To look at a starry sky, in the middle of the night, walking in a sleeping city.
To wait for the dawn.
To lay down on a desolated beach, staring at the sea.
To work as a volunteer: I feel good helping people, especially when they smile back at me after being helped.

Amizingness is in little and daily things, but too often we are blind

Ps.I got lots of stories from my travelling, but you will get to know them just meeting me! =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Italian language, custom and gesture, and how to cook an amazing pasta (my friends call me "the queen of pasta"!). Also, I'm pretty good with facial expressions.
