ABOUT ME

Any spare afternoon, day, weekend, month I go off to discover new things in my immediate area or as far away as possible. I have visited many abandoned spots, bridges, tiny towns and parks in my surrounding region in my spare time and my awesome friends are great companions in this exploring. I have worked as a counselor for kids and hope to pursue social justice for them in Richmond. I have participated in many human services projects over the years and love learning from, helping and teaching people.

hosting, surfing and attending CS events whenever i can

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting and surfing on and off for the past three years. Most notably, I embarked on a European couchsurfing trip in 2009 and am hugely indebted to this site for making the trip as amazing as it was. I met couchsurfers from all over the world at CS events and others who were also being hosted at the same time as I was. I love this community and want to keep the spirit alive at home. Usually, I like to take surfers to local shows, dance parties, Richmond events or just a relaxed evening with friends.

kinder eggs, spain and latin america, documenting everything in journals and photographs, out of/in town shows, leaving town whenever possible to change up the scenery, my vegetable garden, intense dance sessionz, zine writing/reading, news radio, positive youth interventions, ethnic cooking, raising sloppy female handwriting awareness, dogs in car windows and general partying whenever possible.

well its hard to think of just one.. befriended a gypsy on the streets of spain, rode bikes across the city of savannah, ga at 4am while sharing bags of chips, partook in calvin johnson's crowd of people dancing down the street to his magic guitar playing
