A 24 years old musician based in Penang, Malaysia. I only started travelling outside south-east Asia in 2018 when I went to Budapest, Austria, Rome and Australia.

I would love to meet locals whenever I travel to learn about the history and culture. Oooh, and art spaces! Different places produce different, significant art and I would love to meet the creatives from the places that I visit to learn about their stories and inspirations.

I travel with my husband, Irfan. We are both musicians. Other than music, he is really good in language while I like to dabble more in visual arts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet the locals, learn their culture and basically make friends with new people. We are all different people with different interests. I find it interesting to learn and understand other people's viewpoint which is largely based on their own individual experience of the places they've been and the people they surround themselves with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Art and music has shaped me into the person I am today. It has led me to meet amazing people and I get to go to amazing places because of art. In 2017 my husband and I started a soundscape duo that plays ambient, instrumental music. We have connected with people from all kinds of background because of this. A proof that music really is a universal language and I think that this is really, truly amazing.
