About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn everything about everything!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in St. Louis and moved back after 7 years away. I went to Paraguay with the Peace Corps, Argentina with Fulbright, and then to North Carolina for graduate school. I'm learning about all of the things that have changed while I was gone as well as all of the things that have not. I just started a job working downtown related to urban planning, a subject that I love to think about and talk about.
I live near the Botanical Gardens in a neighborhood called Southwest Garden. There are a few cool things to walk to from here, but public transportation access is a little lacking.
PHILOSOPHY
"All things in moderation, including moderation."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To the extent that I can! I recently moved into a place with a spare bedroom, so I'm looking forward to hosting travelers. If I have time, I love to show people around. I love St. Louis, in spite of its many, many challenges, and I always love to see if maybe I can convince someone to see its charms.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in North Carolina and in Uruguay (and have Airbnb'd in a whole lot of places as well), and it was a great experience. I look forward to traveling a lot more.
Interests
I am interested in meeting new people (of course!), cooking and baking (making The Perfect Pizza is on my list), kitties, history, dancing, biking, learning new things, going on walks, being outside in the sun, reading, watching funny tv shows and movies, learning a new language (I need to pick one), having parties and things like that!

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been a bookworm my whole life, and I'm especially nerdy because I love nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking along the dirt road of my community in Paraguay while the sun came up with fog over the fields, smelling the smoke from people heating water for mate, and seeing little lights on in the kitchen of each house dotting the darkness.
