About Me
Hi!
I'm a student heading into a degree in social work, and I also work in a treeplanting camp in the north of British Columbia...when I am not doing either of these things, I like to travel! Eventually I want to see the whole world (or at least a bit of each continent)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had my first couchsurfing experience in Bogota, Colombia while doing my first solo backpacking trip (through South America), and it was fantastic! I have found Couchsurfing to be a great way to meet people and experience the countries I plan to visit!
Interests
When it comes to traveling, my interests tend towards exploring the outdoors (I love hiking & camping!), and trying local foods! I like cooking, so learning to make new dishes is a highlight as well!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different types of music, so it all depends on my mood. For movies I love dramas and a true story. When it comes to books, I will happily dive into fantasy, science fiction, whodunnits, classics, general fiction, and especially dystopias! I'm all about swapping must-read titles (Goodreads, anyone?)!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
No pressure on this question, right?! One thing I've done that I thought was amazing was to hike the 4-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu in Peru! It was difficult, but worth every quad-busting step!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some English! And I would love to learn some of your language! During this conversation we can share a meal, because food makes everything 200X better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love swapping travel experiences and recommendations!
