About Me
Hellooooo. I've just finished working full time in London and I'm moving back to Brighton in October to continue with studies. I'm going to be backpacking around the Balkans for five weeks from Mid-August onward, from Slovenia to Macedonia, having never been to any of the countries in between and will be doing almost all solo. I don't really have a set plan or anything booked other than my first flight - I just know that I want to meet some amazing new people and explore more places along the way. And I'm realllly excited about it.
Hiking, camping, cycling, bouldering and swimming in lakes are the things that make me happiest - I love to be in nature and go off the beaten track. I'm hoping to use Couchsurfing throughout the entire trip - I'll cook great meals and join you for a hike (if you're keen) in return for a sofa and a recommendation of where to stay next! Thanks a mil, Jill x
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, discover places I wouldn't see otherwise, learn new customs and travel in the most sustainable way possible. I've stayed with families when living in India, China and travelling through Kyrgyzstan and loved every minute

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped on the Great Wall of China - a small group of us found a family who was willing to take us to the edge of a forest that the wall went through. We hiked until we got to the wall and climbed it for about five hours before setting up camp for the night - slept under the stars and woke up for the sunrise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
- vegan cooking
- how to get lost on hikes but stay cool about it
I'd like to learn:
- A bit about everything. Local customs, hidden gems, recommendations of where to stay. People's stories and experiences (big Humans of New York fan).
- how to juggle. I've been trying for a really long time now so any help is more than welcome
Share:
- meals
- book/music reccomendations!!!
- pints
