Overview
About Me
Proud San Franciscan struck with wanderlust.
I visited Japan (Nagoya) for the first time when I was 17 and the amazing summer I had with my host family and friends I met through the AFS program fueled my interest in world languages and travel. I spent the following summer studying in Seoul and living with a host family through the NSLI-Y program which prompted my interest in Korea even more. I studied in Tokyo for six months during college with another great family and consider my host father as a role model and mentor. I am currently an assistant language teacher in Japan through the JET program and I am truly grateful for the opportunities I've had so far.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cross-cultural connections is very heartwarming. While I'm excited to see popular attractions, I want to experience the gems the locals enjoy as well. I would gladly like to reciprocate the opportunity, too.
