Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be able to travel without the high cost of a hotel and be able to experience cities and towns without feeling like a tourist. I have never enjoyed the feeling of "going to a new place" and just doing the hotel gig, I would much rather spend time at a bed & breakfast, or with the local people so that I can get a real feel for the area. I would like to be able to connect with new people and share in life with them.
