About Me

I lived in a beautiful town in Central Taiwan (Sun Moon Lake) for almost 10 years. The small town is surrounded by mountains, tea farms, and betel nut trees. See how the farmers and residents get along with the nature and people makes me want to share the beauty and diverse of Taiwan.

It’s always fun to meet new friends with different background, but work is always endless as well. So I quit my job for taking break and learning from the world. Went to Australia for months to experience laid back life last year, mostly in SA and QLD.

To see the green tea culture and visit the whole Japan roughly, I came to Japan with also working holiday visa since March. I did work at tea farm for a month in Yame, Fukuoka. Now I'm travelling in Chubu. Few things left before heading back are play Pachinko and experience the snow. (fingers crossed)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Like various types of music, but I'll choose swing jazz if I have to.
Directors and movies : Javier Dolan, Jim Jarmusch; Three Colours trilogy, Little Forest, Shoplifters, Inside Llewyn Davis
Authors: Albert Camus, Leonard Koren, Ito Ogawa, Kazuo Ishiguro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wrote my own book.

Teach, Learn, Share

Australia has shown me and taught me to see people with different backgrounds equally since there are so many different cultures, people and races (and food, of course) in one big country. I finally sort of get rid of being disturbed by the question of what it means as a Taiwanese, because nationality is just one aspect of a person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a tea lover who drinks coffee every morning. Would love to share my tea collection. Also like to cook and know guitar chords and few songs.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Japan, Taiwan
