Currently on a long term (hopefully 1-4 years) round the world trip with a suuuper tight budget. Yay being homeless by choice! Originally from the American Midwest near Chicago, I've spent the past 4 years in NYC where I'll probably end up again post travels, though the dream is definitely to find somewhere really badass and end up staying there. Probly unrealistic with visas and all of that fun stuff but whatever. I'm pretty quiet and tidy. That being said, once I get to know you a bit I'm wonderfully random and weird and I really love having good conversations with a drink, impromptu karaoke dance parties, and experiencing how other people live their weird lives.

I love to meet locals and expats everywhere that I go to better understand the culture and avoid most of the main tourist traps. You get a much better understanding of a place when you're with someone that loves living there.

Reading as much as I can, having trouble with it now because it turns out that I really really hate Kindles and don't have room in my bag for real books but I'll hopefully figure something out soon. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Cinema, much easier to consume whilst traveling.
Traveling, duh.
Hiking, national forests are amazing and I love the physicality of climbing up small mountains. It feels so amazing when you've finally made it to the top to take in the view.
Canoeing and kayaking are things that I do not do enough of but amazing relaxing activities that I grew up with.
Cooking and not following recipes. One of my life goals is to be able to cook like a French girl. Actually, my main life goal might be to just be a French girl in general. Tattoos, I've got a few and want a few more.
Fashion, have a degree in it, mostly into vintage though.
Thrifting is a passion of mine.
Flowers, I am a florist by trade and am super interested in making that industry more sustainable.
Design, just y'know, in general.
