About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Smile a lot, travel a lot, laugh a lot and enjoy the company of others

ABOUT ME

I am 25 years old and love to travel- as soon as I step foot back home in Adelaide I am planning my next big adventure overseas! I studied Developmental Education (Disability), it took a little longer than most due to a year in America and a year in Denmark in between! I'm lucky enough to be part of the Harlequin Spirals German Wheel team (Circus/gymastics apparatus) and get to travel and perform a lot at home, interstate and overseas - it's wheelie fun! I love making new friends and hanging out with old ones, I love to laugh, dance, swim, circus, sing (badly),flip or just sit around and have good chats!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first I learnt of couchsurfing was from a Canadian friend who I was living with in Denmark. Through her I met some cool couch surfing people and had my first couchsurfing experience in Belgium.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Belgium and met some couchsurfers along the way on my travels - all great people! Im back living at home in a packed house at the moment so its hard to host but Im always happy to show people around

Interests

People, people are super interesting - speak to a person for a few minutes and you learn so much! Friends, family, gymnastics/circus, travelling, sunshine, camping, music, inclusion, dancing, adventures, languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - I dont watch them much but enjoy it when I do, a good comedy or something that gets you thinking is the best...I am one of those people who will fidget and give a running commentary through a film so if you are looking for a quiet movie buddy Im probably not the best choice!
Music - is great! Give me something to sing along to or shake ma groove thing to and I'm set!
Books - take me to a happy place where I get lost in the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was volunteering in Malaysia I taught an lady with a disability who had been institutionalised how to smile :D - so rewarding!
Every time I travel somewhere new I am amazed by our incredible world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an open book for teaching, an open mind for learning and and open heart for sharing
