CURRENT MISSION
Meeting awsome people and transforming urban landscapes
ABOUT ME
My life is great, do enough things (see the smile). I returned from my journey around the world. Started in Amsterdam ( I'm Dutch) flying to New York, San Francisco, LA, Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and ending in Thailand. Also had a other small trip to Tokyo. So now it's my turn to host!
When I travel: Hope that CS brings me in contact with people who can show me new things and experience the best this little globe in darkness has to offer! Interested for just a nice drink somewhere and ofc a place to spent the night is also welcome! I'm looking for that travel buddy or someone who can show me the town. Hope I meet someone where I can let myself go intellectual and energetic. Whether it is a talk on a couch or go to distant places. Maybe I will find a friend for live or just a daily dream.
As a host: full-time job, so less cultures to visit.. awwhh, well why don't they visit me!? Love to return the favor, paying it forward!
PHILOSOPHY
People usually notice about me that I'm a creative, impulsive and open guy. Sometimes that scares people off. I Write how I think and talk with my hands. With that creativity and openness with feelings I believe Im quiet passionate in my expressiones, so watch out!
Thats the thing I like to do; Learn more about live and get to know other people, art, cultures, knowledge or live styles. But hanging on the couch and watch a movie is also just nice.
I did a master Urban Geography (social sciences) which is more cultural, historical, artistic and philological then my previous study. Now working in Urban development for the city of Rotterdam, shaping living spaces to make the city more Sustainable and Green! So seeing the world, amazing cities and meeting different people is a big +.
So cs'rs be welcome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a very open guy so I believe, after this life changing experience, my home will always be open. Feel welcome.
If I stay at a place I want to give something back. If its teaching a recipe, giving a treat to some excursion like a museum or adventure. I can also show off my singing (but I can not sing)
About me staying over:
Got a travel blanked
My own flipflops for under the shower
Do not Smoke
Clean up!
Do not Snorrr!

Well on Curacao I gotten my Padi Openwater and lately my Advanged certificate in the 'Great Barrier Reef', so I hope I can also dive with somebody. Did a sharkdive in Fiji too (I wasn't scarred, honestly).
I went abroad for half a year with my intership.
Jumped with an elastic rope and skydived in Oahu, Hawaii.
Surfed in Hawaii and did a surftrip along the East coast of Australia.
Ive studied Art, Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, Painting/Sculpting.
Seen enough art to never run out of dreams.
Ive been to Tokio and back for just two days because ive gotten the chance!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn about life. Last year I learned that money is not what makes me spin and that I need to follow my passion. Do need to discover my path though, so maybe these experiences will give me some more insights.
