About Me
Hellllllllooooooo
I'm Jill. About to travel around Colombia, and then on to Peru and Central America. The plan is to be away for a few months - learn lots, finally start doing yoga, attempt dancing, try karaoke, meet wonderful new people, and try new things!
I love nutrition, cycling on flat paths, being outdoors - especially near water, podcast addict, scuba diving...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have a different travelling experience to hosteling - meet new people, and learn more about their culture and country.
Interests
I spend a lot of time cycling down the river behind my house towards London, going between thinking, and listening to either music and podcasts.
I have been a scuba diver since I was a wee girl - thanks to my Grandad. I use to volunteer in scuba diving centres in exchange for free dives.
I have travelled on and off since I was 19, volunteering in disaster relief and nutrition projects. I have met so many really wonderful people who have taught me so much. Travelling has really opened my mind.
I love going for long walks to explore places, stopping for ice coffees and snacks, and to appreciate and take pictures of graffiti art.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Rudimental, Frank Ocean, Jazz, Clean Bandit, Blonde. Love many different types, but nothing too heavy or shouty.
Books - usually nutrition books to keep up-to-date
Movies - Marvel & DC, Sci-fi, Comedies, Ghostbusters, Bridget Jones
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taught myself to cycle without using the handlebars! Prettttttty impressive. - short distances only -
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning - podcasts & youtube are favourites. Usually something to do with: psychology, politics, feminism.
